How can I be joyful, praise God, during tragedy or difficult times?

Since we are Not Job, how can we praise God when we experience tragedy? (Knowing subconsciously that He did not cause the tragedy.)

I’m sure this is one of the most common questions asked, particularly when tragedy occurs.  Why me?  Where was God when…?   What sets believers apart is knowing two things: 1) God is NOT the author of anything bad.  Bad things happen as a result of sin.  It’s Satan’s fault as he works harder and harder now to keep us from the eternal promises God has made to us. 2)When bad things do happen, people oftentimes come even closer to God.  He is stronger when we are weaker.  These things happen to not only increase our patience, but our faith and trust in Him as well.

Even though we know  these things, believe in them, it’s still hard.  Heavenly Father, please help me to be strong against the evil one.  I know that I can do ALL things through You, who strengthens me.  Hallelujah!
